Lovely and magnificent location just off the steepest hill in England and magnificent views over the valley. Also, fab away from everything. Beautifully decorated room and savoury breakfast. Very hospitable personnel on shift, comfortable bed.

Fine, fine, fine.
The amazing views of the Yorkshire moors from my room were captivating and created a magical atmosphere throughout my stay. Each breakfast was a good surprise, with a range of hot dishes made with local ingredients that showcased the region's flavors. I especially loved cozying up by the log fire in the bar area after a long day of exploring the scenic walking trails nearby 🌄

The fine views from my room. I was impressed by the cozy atmosphere and the chance to enjoy great hiking right at the front door. Plus, the log fire in the bar area added to the charm on chilly nights. The pubs near the hotel served up some good local ales!

missingWrote a review on 03 Mayspacious roomfine viewstight bathroom
The superior room offers spacious accommodations, complete with stylish decor and immaculate cleanliness-a breath of fresh air. Ideal for relaxation, the hotel boasts fine views of the moors.
Although the spacious superior room is a nice retreat, the bathroom layout left something to be desired, especially for larger guests-tight spaces made moving around difficult. Dining options were basic, with the breakfast selection lacking variety and often lukewarm at best. On top of that, several items didn't seem fresh, including what appeared to be older oils used in the kitchen, which affected the overall meal quality. The noise from neighboring rooms made it challenging to unwind after a long day, impacting sleep quality. Finally, the lack of toilet roll holders in the bathroom seemed like an oversight.
